Laurie is a lifelong resident of Columbia County.  She graduated from the Massage Therapy Program at Columbia-Greene Community College in 2002.

During her studies, she worked within the community at large including the elderly in a Catskills nursing home and at the Columbia-Greene Hospital.  Her training has also led her to work on those living with HIV/AIDS at Camp Viva and Mount St. Alphonus. These programs are designed for those infected and affected by this dis-ease to experience different healing modalities, such as massage bodywork.

Laurie's heart and passion are to see that the people who come to her are de-stressed and relieved of pain! Massage therapy has many wonderful health benefits and Laurie incorporates breath work into her sessions.

 

Laurie has studied Thai Yoga Massage and sets her sights on being able to offer that modality in the near future. Laurie extends her deepest reverence to all those she shares this planet with.
